Living Lord

Insights, musings, and thoughts from the people of Living Lord.

For my eyes have seen Your salvation,
which You have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to Your people Israel.
Luke 2:30-32
Easter Visions: You Say You Want a Revelation
Our worship scripture and the sermons for the Easter Season will be focused on six portions of the Book of Revelation, along with six stories from the Gospel of John.
The risen Christ we celebrate is our life, our light, and our hope. The visions of John on the isle of Patmos continue the story of a God who loves us and comes to live with us.
Second Easter Visions – Jesus, the Firstborn of the Dead
April 2-3 Revelation 1:4-8 John 20:19-31

Third Easter Visions – Jesus, Worthy is the Lamb Who Was Slain
April 9-10 Revelation 5:11-14 John 21:1-19

Fourth Easter Visions – Jesus, the Lamb Who is Our Shepherd
April 16-17 Revelation 7:9-17 John 10:22-30

Fifth Easter Visions – The Home of God (with indoor plumbing)
April 23-24 Revelation 21:1-6 John 13:31-35

Sixth Easter Visions – The Home of God (with custom lighting)
April 30 – May 1 Revelation 21:10, 22–22:5 John 14:23-29

Seventh Easter Visions – Washed Robes and Living Tree
May 7-8 Revelation 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21 John 17:20-26
These passages of Revelation just overflow with abundant images: myriads, thousands, blessing, honor, glory, multitudes, nations, and more and more.
City of God, Easter forever, / golden Jerusalem, Jesus the Lamb
river of life, saints and archangels, / sing with creation to God the I AM!
Jesus is risen and we shall arise. / Give God the glory! Alleluia!

Peace, Pastor Jim

Now to God who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ,
according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but is now disclosed.
Romans 16:25-26a
