“Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are far from righteousness. I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel.” Isaiah 46: 12 and 13 NIV

“Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are far from righteousness. I am bringing my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel.” Isaiah 46: 12 and 13 NIV

This was written long before the Birth of Christ, which we have just celebrated, but is as fresh today as it was when Isaiah wrote it.

Israel has been struggling with its righteousness since it begged for King Saul. They just had to have a King just like all of the other nations. Look what happened. Wars, capture, banishment, more wars. They are still in war today. We never learn. God is all we need. Just like the US. We can't seem to learn that when we take God out of control and follow those who only lead us away from Jesus that we will fail.

God is speaking to us right now. Look around at what is happening. Seek God's righteousness. He will NOT be delayed.

Lord, help us have a revival of your teachings and lean on you and seek your salvation. AMEN
