consecrate: to make or declare sacred; dedicate formally to a religious or divine purpose.

I like the word consecrate. It is one of those words we do not use enough in our lives. I NEED to be reminded daily that I have been gathered up by God, declared a child by Him, and made holy through Jesus. Jesus's righteousness has been passed along to me through His sacrifice on the cross enabling me to be consecrated; to be set aside for a divine purpose.

We do not talk enough of God's Will and His purpose for each of us. It is why we are here, yet we tend to make God's Will something hypothetical or idyllic. But God's Will is now and today, concrete and living. Each morning we should wake up and think "What does God' Will have in store for me today?"

Dear Father, Let me hear Your call today, the call to live within the covenant of salvation. Help me understand Your Will so I may walk in Your Way. Amen
