"And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." 1 Timothy 1:14 and (KJV)

"And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." 1 Timothy 1:14 and (KJV)

If I were to take a very close look at these two verses, I would find the middle and latter half of fifteen to be proactive for our lives. Both of these statements written down for our edification hold true. Jesus came to save sinners. Each of us are chief among sinners. The church holds Paul in high esteem as far as saints go. Yet, here he humbles himself equal to or even below us. Paul was a man, just like us. Paul did wondrous things through Christ. Just like we do. Paul had his arrogant moments and God humbled him. Just like he does each of us.

But, in verse fourteen, we have the cornerstone of faith in Christ which guides us in our lives. That is Grace. That is love. That gives us faith. And, the promise God does this exceedingly for us who are in Christ Jesus. Good to be led by faith and love in Christ. Not our own ways. If so, a chief sinner shall we become.

In Your forgiveness, we are cleansed with the waters, so we are made whole. Thank You for leading us to You and Your glory. Amen.
