“The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”

In these verses we are given some facts about Jesus. First, He has the spirit without limit. Take a moment to reframe your problems with this fact in mind. He offers you unlimited spiritual wisdom to navigate hard situations if you ask for this help of Him. Jesus can guide you to exactly where you need to be. This is not a promise of a trip to Shangri-La or a problem free universe- but it is a promise that you can be directed and helped throughout your entire journey here on earth. Christ is also described as having “everything in His hands.” Think about your problems being placed in these hands. Surely, he will support you through your trials and carry you to the other side of your struggles. He gives eternal life, too, which offers the promise of life forever in Him but also offers an outpouring of spiritual life into your world in the here and now. You are guided, held and secure.

It is amazing that this support is ours for the taking if we accept this message. Let our faith radiate onto others so that this hope can also reach them.
