Caring and Outreach small groups reflect the priority of loving and caring for people. Looking inside and beyond the walls of the church, these groups share the love of Christ as they serve and connect with the community.

Acts of Random Kindness

Group members sharing the light of Christ and bringing happiness to others in our community by performing simple acts of random kindness to individuals, families, organizations (whatever the needs may be)

ARC Blood Drive

Group members ensuring sleeves are rolled up and a blood drive is held in conjunction with the American Red Cross. The Red Cross has over 135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid – including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need. 

Meet: Quarterly Events on a Monday from 11:30am -5:30pm

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministries is a not-for-profit Christian education organization founded in 1975 that produces training and resources known for their excellence, practicality, psychological integrity, and theological depth. Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. From all walks of life, they share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.

Meet: Fourth Monday of the month 9 AM at church

Peace Quilters

Group members connecting with others as they learn, grow, and sew lap quilts for babies and the homebound … while encouraging each other and using their creative talents to share the warmth of God’s love with those in need.

Meet: Weekly on Tuesdays 9am -3pm, bring sack lunch

Patches for Relief

Group members to honoring God through service and outreach to others as quilted gifts of love and comfort are provided to those in need, across the globe … delivered by Lutheran World Relief. Build friendships and enjoy fellowship while sharing the love of quilting.

OASIS Food Pantry

O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry is in St. Charles, Missouri. Living Lord and two other local Lutheran congregations founded the Pantry in 1990 as a mission outreach to provide food assistance to local neighbors in need. O.A.S.I.S. currently provides food and personal hygiene items to over 7,000 needy families in St. Charles County per year. Volunteers provide assistance as needed. 

Meet: Second Tuesday evenings of each month at 6:30 pm

Grief Support Group

Group members offering support to each other as they find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. 

Meet: Third Sunday of the month at 11:45am

Cancer Companions

Group members together facing uninvited frustration, exhaustion, and fear due to cancer in their life and dwell in God’s word to see how He may be using all things, even cancer for good. 

Meet: 4th Tuesday of the month 6:30pm

Worship Teams

We have a number of teams which make worship possible. Altar Guild, Readers, Ushers and Security all work in unison to provide a space for worship. If you would like more information, please contact the church office.

Worship Music

Music is an intrinsic part of worship at Living Lord. We are always looking for new voices/instruments to be part of our worship music teams whether it is the choir, handbells or the contemporary band.
