My Wednesday morning Bible study group has been opening each meeting with a reading from a Psalm. A newer believer in the group asked about Psalms being songs and if any of us knew how they were supposed to sound. We explained that while we don’t know the tune from when they were originally written, many new songs have been written based upon Psalms. This is one that I immediately recognized as a song from my youth.

 

I’m a huge advocate of memorizing Scripture and I think that learning it in a song is the easiest way to accomplish that. I hope you enjoy a quick listen and maybe the song will stick with you and be a source of inspiration or encouragement in the future.
