“If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!”
― Shel Silverstein
Pastor Bev is originally from Michigan (Go Blue!) and was ordained in 2018. She is also a veteran Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Coast Guard. Some of Bev's hobbies include camping, canoeing, listening to old Garrison Keillor radio shows, playing cards and board games, eating spicy food, and most of all having fun with her young kids. She values relational ministry. She also enjoys exploring ancient tradition and ritual in both personal practice and worship settings from a grace-based perspective. Bev seeks to listen for and uplift the voices of the Beloved less often heard, and to respect the sacredness of the stories that make up our lives.
We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person--questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God's work in Christ's name for the life of the world.
